Can I submit a paper claim?
Yes, you can still print out HICFA forms for Primary and Secondary Insurance
and submit it conventionally.
How are claims processed?
Once they are created,
they are transmitted electronically immediately.
Can I change a claim once it is
processed?
No, but is can be
resubmitted later with corrected information.
What about errors?
As part of the Providers agreement, the Provider is responsible to monitor and
maintain the work done by your staff. As far as errors on the site, it will be
maintained daily to ensure it is error-free.
Where does the money go?
The provider is paid directly by the insurance company; no remittance is
received by Medcon Services. Medcon Services bills the Provider directly for
the program and its monthly use fees.
How simple or complex is the program?
Will I have to extensively train my staff?
The Program is very self-explanatory and user friendly. Your staff must be
trained to follow prompts for information and most importantly how to maintain
the privacy of the Protected Health Information.
